We will let you know the number if /when any application is submitted. ……………………………… The week before last, Rickmansworth Local Area TRDC Planning Officer Peter Simons explained that TRDC petitioned had Parliament about the issued raised by the HS2 proposals. TRDC has negotiated with the promoter (HS2 Ltd) for more clarity on the scheme and for positive commitments to improve the proposals for this area. Four issues have been deferred to a consortium of local authorities working together on the technical issues of sound, noise and vibration. We are concerned that the scheme would severely affect the local area because of pollution and traffic, and the very large construction compounds to be sited near West Hyde/Maple Cross.
