Dacorum Borough Council Conservatives have belatedly seen the light on the proposed development in the Local Plan they put out for consultation over the Winter. The Lib Dems (the opposition in Dacorum Council) tried several times to persuade them to reconsider this consultation, but all those motions were voted down. However it appears that now (days before another election) is the time they have chosen to announce they are doing what Lib Dems, Residents Associations, local groups and thousands of individual residents, have been demanding for months. Many of us may well wonder about the reckless waste of time, effort and taxpayers money, when the problems were clear from the outset.
