When the UK Government announced last year that it was closing 20 British Council offices across the globe, North East Fife Lib Dem MP Wendy Chamberlain moved a "Westminister Hall" debate on Wednesday 8th September. The office that are closing are in Afghanistan, Australia, Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Canada, Chile, Croatia, Kosovo, Malta, Montenegro, Namibia, New Zealand, North Macedonia, Sierra Leone, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Sudan, Switzerland, United States of America, and Uruguay.
