Cllr Cathy McArevey has spent many years working with victims of domestic abuse in a range of roles including chair of the Hertfordshire Domestic Abuse Helpline for five years and coordinator of Domestic Abuse services in Dacorum.
Cllr Cathy McArevey said “I am proud to do my bit both to bring beauty to our neighbourhood with Spring bulbs and use the opportunity to highlight Violence Against Women and Girls and promote the Herts Sunflower initiative. Planting the bulbs in Leverstock Green which is the gateway to Hemel Hempstead symbolises that we take seriously the safety of our residents”
