What is your motivation for wanting to represent the people of Grovehill & Woodhall Farm?

I have lived in Grovehill since I was very young and am proud of the fact that I grew up and went to school in the area. This, along with being a politics student has led to me taking an interest in local issues and I would love to have the chance to help shape the local society.

Who or what inspired you to stand for public office?

There is no one event or person that inspired me to stand. My inspiration comes from a variety of sources starting with teachers when I was still in school and including my university experience. Working within the local community allowed me to get a grip on what the issues really are and how people feel. I enjoy talking to people and also seek to help where possible.

What skills and/or experience can you bring to the Council if elected?

A skill that I could bring is the knowledge of what younger people have to face through my own experience. I have also worked with young people and feel that I could bring a well-rounded view of how young people feel to the council.
