Dr Richard Grayson has been helping out with a film project being carried out by students from City University London. As part of a Masters degree in Television Journalism, a team of students has chosen to produce a five minute film on the Hemel Hempstead parliamentary constituency, partly focusing on the effects of the Buncefield disaster. They have interviewed all the main party candidates and also filmed some campaigning. Last Saturday saw filming around the Adeyfield area as the local Liberal Democrat Focus Team delivered calendars to residents.
Dr Grayson commented:
I enjoyed being involved in the project. Some really probing questions were asked in the interview and it was actually quite helpful to reflect on the kinds of things we do when campaigning.
This was the second time Dr Grayson has taken part in such a project , with his own campaign from the 2005 election being made into a ten minute film by a student from Goldsmiths, University of London, where he currently works as a Senior Lecturer.
