Commenting on today's local Remembrance Sunday parade and service in Boxmoor, Dr Richard Grayson said:
"The dead of the two world wars and later conflicts are always in our minds on Remembrance Sunday. However, I was struck this year by how much people attending this year's service were reflecting on the plight of our forces in Afghanistan. The terrible conditions British troops are experiencing, and the ever-increasing death toll, have made people focus on them even more than ever this year."
